- The ways in the candidates own experiences of media consumption illustrate wider patterns & trends of Audience behaviour.
Blamer 4 stages of audience
- Comes from all forms of life = wrong as there is never a mixed target audience.
- anoynomous individual = wrong as rarely someone goes to the movies alone
- dont interact with the person you are with concerning the film you had just watched = wrong as it is near impossible to never speak of that film again unless it was so lame it hurt to watch (smurfs)
- losely organised and is not able to act with the unity of the crowd
people always watch somthing to either because: Enterteined, Informed & identification
Higherarchy of needs
- The need for information about our geographical & social world news & drama.
- The need for identity, by using characters & personalities to define our sense of self & social behaviour film celebrities
- The need for social interaction through experiencing the relationships & interaction of others
- The need for diversion by using the media for purposes of play & entertainment.
